Thank you for visiting Bella Legal Assistants. We know that trust matters, especially in legal work. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, please reach out using the contact details at the end.
1. Who we are
Bella Legal Assistants (“Bella,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides dedicated and case-by-case virtual immigration paralegal support to licensed immigration attorneys and law firms in the United States. Our legal name is Bella Legal Assistants LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, located at 603 E. 16th St., Suite 110, Holland, MI 49423.
This policy applies to our website, www.bella.legal (the “Site”), our online forms, our advertising (including lead forms on Facebook and Instagram), our text messages, and our sales and marketing communications. It does not cover the case information we handle on behalf of our law firm clients; see Section 7 for how that works.
Our services are designed for attorneys and law firms. We do not offer legal advice or legal services directly to the public.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Website forms. When you fill out a form on our Site, such as our onboarding questionnaire, we collect what you choose to share. This can include your name, email address, phone number, law firm name and website, how you heard about us, the services you are interested in, your preferred hours and time zone, and details about your firm’s software, phone, email, and file-storage setup.
- Facebook and Instagram lead forms. If you respond to one of our ads through a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) instant form, we receive the answers you submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, company or law firm name, and caseload size. Meta may pre-fill some fields from your profile; you can review and edit them before you submit.
- Purchases. If you buy case-by-case assistance through our Site, we collect the details needed to complete and fulfill the order, such as your name, firm, email, phone, and billing information. Card payments are entered with and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Bella does not store full card numbers. Stripe’s handling of your payment information is governed by its privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
- Calls, emails, and text messages. When you call 1-833-33-BELLA, email us, or text with us, we keep a record of the conversation details you share, such as your contact information and what you need help with.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our Site, we and our partners automatically collect certain information through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, the page that referred you, approximate location (city or region), and the date and time of your visit.
We use the following kinds of tools:
- Essential cookies that keep the Site working, such as remembering items in your cart.
- Analytics such as Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
- Advertising pixels and tags, including the Meta Pixel and Google tags (Google Ads and Google Analytics), which help us measure how our ads perform and show relevant ads to people who have visited our Site.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:

- follow up with you about our services by phone, email, or text message, send you a proposal, and schedule calls or consultations;
- set up, deliver, and support the services your firm signs up for;

- send occasional marketing emails and, if you have opted in, marketing text messages about our services, which you can opt out of at any time;
- measure and improve our website, ads, and marketing, including showing our ads to people who have visited our Site (often called retargeting);
- protect the security of our Site and prevent fraud or misuse; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. Nothing in this section overrides the commitments about mobile information and text messaging opt-in data in Section 4. We share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as our customer relationship management (CRM) system, website hosting, email, scheduling, and text messaging providers, and Stripe for payment processing. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners, including Meta and Google, which receive information through their pixels and tags (and, for lead forms, through their own platforms) to help us measure and deliver ads. Their use of information is also governed by their own privacy policies. We do not share mobile numbers or text messaging opt-in data with these partners for their marketing or promotional purposes.
- Legal and safety reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is needed to protect our rights, our clients, or others.
- Business changes, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the commitments in Section 4.
- With your permission, in any other case where you ask us to or agree to it.
6. Your choices

7. Client case information
Our paralegals work inside our law firm clients’ practices and may handle information about those firms’ clients, such as immigration case documents and personal details. We handle that information on behalf of, and according to the instructions of, the law firm that engaged us. It is governed by our agreement with that firm and the firm’s own privacy practices, not by this website policy.
If you are a client of a law firm we support and have questions about your information, please contact your law firm directly. If you reach out to us, we will refer your request to the firm.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information, including information about sales inquiries and leads, only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, such as staying in touch about our services, serving our clients, keeping business and tax records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or de-identify it.
9. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Our team members are background-checked and trained before they are placed with a firm. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights, such as the right to know what personal information we have collected, to receive a copy, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or targeted advertising. Some of these laws do not apply to business-contact information or to businesses of our size, but we aim to honor reasonable requests from anyone.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before we respond, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
11. Children’s privacy
Our Site and services are intended for attorneys, law firms, and other professionals. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. International users
Our Site is intended for users in the United States. If you visit the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site, you understand that your information will be handled in the United States as described in this policy.
13. Links to other websites
Our Site may link to other websites and social media pages, such as our Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above. If we make significant changes, we may also let you know in other ways, such as a notice on the Site.
